The Tribal EPA Committee members work closely with the EPA staff in fulfilling the mission of the
Tribal EPA: “Protecting our Tribal resources now and for future generations”.
The role of Committee members includes the following:

- To provide guidance and oversight to Tribal EPA staff
To support Tribal environmental program development
To protect the Reservation environment
To represent the needs and goals of the Tribal membership
To serve as a liaison to the community and Tribal Council
To participate in Tribal EPA events, outreach and public meetings
To provide input on Tribal EPA grant applications and other documents
To particicpate in quarterly committee meetings
To obtain training as needed to fulfill the role of EPA committee member
